Bio
Hailing from Tahmoor in the Southern Highlands of New South Wales, Australia, Scott Halls grew up immersed in the vibrant local music scene, cutting his teeth in high school rock bands and playing at community events. His early performances earned him recognition through local competitions, airplay on regional radio, and a reputation for his strong sense of melody and guitar-driven songwriting. Drawing influence from the early 2000s Australian rock wave and the late ’90s US alternative sound, Scott’s music blends raw energy with folk and country undertones, creating a style that is both dynamic and heartfelt.
After years of teaching guitar and performing locally, Scott stepped away from music to pursue other paths. A decade later, driven by a renewed passion, he returned to the stage and studio in 2021, this time dedicating himself fully to his craft. Now based in Jacksonville, Florida, Scott continues to refine his sound while collaborating with a wide range of musicians. His creative work spans both his solo project Scott Halls and his high-energy rock outfit Scott Halls & The Swamp Puppies.
Touring extensively across Florida and branching out into other US states, Scott is steadily building a reputation for his authentic performances and melodic songwriting. With new music in development and a growing presence in the American live scene, Scott Halls stands as an artist reclaiming his roots while pushing into fresh musical territory.
